Why We Don’t Copy: The Ethics Behind Our Designs
In an industry where originality can sometimes feel optional, we’ve chosen a different path—one that’s paved with intent, integrity, and a whole lot of trial-and-error.
At Mr. Slick Willies, every sleeve and dildo starts with a sketch, not a screenshot. We design our models in-house, sculpting each curve, contour, and character by hand (and by 3D printer). No stolen scans, no reverse-engineered knockoffs, and no “inspired-by” shortcuts that skirt the line. Just honest, original work—however long it takes.
Unfortunately, not everyone plays by the same rules.
Some sellers out there buy dildos from Amazon or AliExpress, make silicone molds of them, and then sell the resulting sleeves as if they’re original. One particularly bold shop even casts unauthorized copies of porn star dildos and markets them using the porn star’s name—as if they’ve got a licensing deal. They don’t. It’s theft, plain and simple—and it’s only a matter of time before someone finds themselves explaining it all to a judge.
Why does this matter?
Because when you support brands that rip off artists, you're rewarding theft. When you buy from us, you're supporting creators who create. You’re putting your money where your morals are, whether you realize it or not.
We know it’d be faster to copy. It’d be cheaper, too. But we’d rather sleep at night—and keep our inbox free of cease and desist letters.
So if you’ve ever wondered why we don’t rush new releases, or why every drop feels just a little different, now you know: because we’re building a lineup that’s built to last, not just built to sell.
Thanks for sticking with us. For keeping it original. And for supporting a brand that still believes in craft over cloning.
Stay slick,
Clint
